Well, the bigger sellers are set up to take credit cards directly, but they pay for that service as well. If you want to take payments from debit or creditcards, someone is making a cut I guess.

I am just talking about the regular joe that might sell a 200 or 2000 redline, they deserve to loose 200- 300 dollers because of paypal and a extra 150 on ebayfees, it is a huge scam and monopoly.
Eric
Ok!! That's cool, to each there own, I for one don't sell much if at all so it's great for me. And when I do sell I like to sell here cuz it'sfree and we still take money orders and checks here at rlol so there you go problem solved if you want to sell for free and take checks and money orders sellhere, but just so you know I did buy a $50 dollar car here and sent a money order and the seller never sent the car and just poof was gone and I was not theonly one here that got ripped off by him. So no one is 100% safe anywhere. So that said, I will only buy from people I know or that live close so if theydon't send my car or cars I can go lump them up!!
Lol, Yep Dan, I totally like to sell on here before anything, just to give rol members a good deal and first opportunity on them. Plus it is alot easier on roland members here are open to any kind of payment. Then I go to ebay. Some cars that I sell for other people, I have to put on ebay, and that's what I amtalking about getting ripped off on, ebay and paypal. I just think ebay and paypal are bs.
Eric

well i agree with both sides. Its their company, they can do what they want. But on the other hand, if its freedom to choose, then we should be able to choosethe method of payment we are sending. Ebay is just pissed that people use money order, because it cuts them out of millions of dollars. Using paypal they getALL the money. LISTING FEES, FINAL VALUE FEES, And then PAYPAL FEES! How much feakin money do they need????????? Final answer>>> If ya dont likeit dont use it. If we have forgotten, we can sell here for FREE. With any form of payment we choose.

HA! I just did a couple listings on the bay. And used a little less to the point option. And also gave paul over at TTP a BUMP. If ya would care to see justsearch redline mustang. AND if anybody is interested while you can still get any type payment. Ebay is having a 35 cent special for listing with BIN OBO.listed 1 at 175 and 1 at 200 for 35 cents.
Aside from the fees. I know several people who have been scammed by buyers, Items have been sent out and the person just claims they never got the item andfile a claim with paypal and in EVERY case except one. the buyer wins and the seller is refunded. I have seen cases from him where he had the Post officereceipts and they still favored for the buyer. Just for that reason alone i will never take paypal.

All a buyer has to do is say it never arrived and boom they win the case and paypal freezes your acct or takes the money out of it.

I am all for ebay running the co. anyway they choose but its gone too far.
