Cut the hair. Double the money, means you can save, put away, travel, it will open more doors than it will shut. Trust me, I was a DEVOUT hair farmer fordecades. My hair, just like what Karen stated, to me, was more than just a hairdo. I'm Native American and proud of it, so I let it fly. My future wife, not so much against the hair, just didn't like my hair being longer and prettier than hers. So, at the beginning of our relationship, she butchered a dyejob (I was pretty punk) and ruined my gig. So, I cut it, and I've looked a 110% better from that day forward-and I still married her! My hair didn'tdefine me, I only thought it did. Today, I couldn't care less about it. I'm much cooler without (hair heats the dome), I don't have to deal withthe salt and pepper look, which ages you, and I don't really care for the aging process anyway. You can make double the money, with a company that isprobably in better position to ride out this mess of an economy (they are actually hiring), and you will can make a better future for yourself. The realquestion is how could you not?

Once again, my friends, all your comments are very VERY much appreciated, and everything that has been said here is heartfelt... thank you so much!<br><br>I particularly resonated with what Chris said - my hair has also been a nod to my Native American ancestry. But he's absolutely right - hair does not theman make... and for too long I've depended on my image, or my "righteousness", or what I create and do, to define myself, because I always feltthat 'just being me' wasn't good enough.<br><br>I reckon it's time, at last, to grow up and get over that, and just relax and BE.

I havent grown up and couldnt grow long hair if I tried (and in the 80s I tried). Also greg if your a good boy during yourhair cut youll get a lollipop afterwards. <img src="http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/smokin.gif" alt="image"><br><br>And dude admitting to anyone your Steves friend isnt going to help in any situation. "And dude admitting to anyone your Steves friend isnt going to help in any situation."<br><br>(Gasp) Oh the horror of.<br><br>Greg, no reason to grow up, just drop some folicles and help those with cancer, and oh yeah, get a new job, with better benefits, more pay, different ladder toclimb, enjoy the bank account more, win, win. Might I suggest with your new cash infusion, a new sleave of tattoos for your left arm, and let's go with theNative American theme. This way, you can still be a rebel in longsleeves shirt with short business trusted hair. Just offering that up, feel free to use it.
