...and since we are talking about "pro team sports" - I know that cycling is kind of a non-issue in this country, but ALL of the championships for the sports listed are for pansies compared with the Tour de France. How about 150 miles per day, 6 solid hours with no breaks at an average of 25-30 mph with 12,000 feet of climbing, for THREE WEEKS in a row? Okay, not every day of the three weeks is like that, but it's close - and there is nothing in the world that is tougher, both mentally and physically....
