Re: A FEW PICS OF MY ANTIQUES AND COLLECTIBLES! Enjoy!
A buyer came by on sat. and bought a chaingaurd off me. Sad, this 1934 Rollfast (company went under in 1970s) bike went from this:

To this:

But hey, I gave it a chance as a project bike, but no takers. Breaks my heart to do that, but I really needed the cash. I bought it whole for $45. I got $145 out of the parts so far. Net income would be $100 as I paid $45 for the bike.

Really a shame nobody wanted to restore it from it's complete status. I love looking at chainguards and tanks on eBay.

I have couple really nice chaingaurds still. One rare one from a Columbia Thunderbolt and a gaurd from an early Sears Spyder.

Somebody came by yesterday and bought the shell for $20! He also bought the shell of a '40 Hawthorne, and Sears Spaceliner project and misc. parts. In all, he spent about $100 on me.

Neat thread. You've got some killer bikes. I'm always buying and selling antiques as another one of my side hobbies. We hit a lot of estate sales, auctions and just find stuff through contacts and handing out business cards. I collect advertising stuff so anything like signs and store promos gets me jacked up. I've got a link to my photobucket with some of my wife and I's better finds if ya'll are interested in looking at some "junk". :p

Well guys, thanks for the comments! I found these old pics in my photobucket. I bouth this Firebird car for $1 at an estate sale. Cleaned it up, new batteries, patched the box and sold it for $40-something bucks. I have the records somewhere. Just can't find it now. I was told it was played with on Christmas and a time or two after that and it was stored away. Only flaw was a burned out tail light and a dirty switch.
Pic after it was cleaned up:

Video of it I found on the computer. This is when the car was still filthy inside and out, but I got it working somewhat.

Still have this for sale, I put $10 on it and it still works!

I forgot I found these old tools in a shed. Any idea what the wrench looking thing was used for?

One of my better finds is the this Coca Cola sign I got at an auction in North Dakota for $10. She measures 6' long and 4' high, marked Robertson 1953 on the bottom.

Resale wise, I picked up these '56 Caddy wheelcovers from an auction down here in GA for a whopping $5 - nobody wanted them. Cleaned them up and they sold on eBay for $113. Oh, and in the box was an original owner's manual, accessory booklet and convertible folding top operation guide for a '68 Caddy - which I got another $28 for.

Man, I miss estate sales. I haven't been able to go to many this year, I think only one, and they weren't even prepared and they're asking prices were outragous!
