Dave,<br>Great vibes still coming your way through prayers. <br>I offer this for you...please share.<br>Share good memories with your Father during these rough times. In the last days of my Fathers life, we talked about many things we both remembered about mychildhood. I thanked him for the man he was and the pillar of strength he always showed us boys. I have 3 brothers.<br>One quick story...<br>I told him how proud I was of him when he drove up to the schoolyard in a brand new red TR-4A. I was playing with my friends and when he honked the horn at me,I took off running so fast to him so I could see the new red car. I was the coolest kid and had the coolest Dad when my friends saw me get into that car! Mydad said he remembered how big my smile was when I was running to the car. I was 9 years old then.<br>My Dad told me he never knew I felt that way. I told him that I always was proud of him and I always talked about how cool my dad was when I was talking to myfriends. He just smiled.<br>My Mom told me, after Dad passed, that the talks he and I had made him feel so good that he knew he had done a good job as a Dad that he could go into the nextlife feeling content with the way he raised is kids. 1st off I would like to let you all know that my father passed on about 2:30 am Australian time this morning 12/22/2007.<br>I would sicerely like to thank each and everyone of you for all your kind words during this time.Since becoming a member of RLOL I feel like my family grewvery fast and I see you all as family members,Thank you so much.<br>Jeff,dad and I had some great talks over the last month and we both felt better and closer for it.<br><br>NORMAN THOMAS ROGERS 9/17/1923-12/22/2007<br>May he rest in peace.
