hey gary, my wife and i have looked into costa rica and new zealand over the last 2 years. they actually enforce their immigration laws rather than turn their heads for one party votes. you cant even get a temporary visa without finding a job first. a couple of things left to hope for, one when the full libya cover up becomes public knowledge we could be looking at impeachment. and 2, not if but WHEN the SHTF one or more states will drop from the union. texas i bet would be the first and if they do thats where i'm headed. on a final note, if anyone is thinking about buying a gun or ammo buy it NOW. i'll be stocking up saturday. they can come for my guns but they're getting the ammo first
Yeah, i still think about moving to australia, you guys think its bad where you live, i was born in a far different california than the one i live in now, politically correctness sucks, guns? Glad i bought them when they were cheap. Try to stand for whats right and you become an extremist. Anyway before i go off on a tangent let me end.

Gary...You say you may be looking at coming to Alberta..eh...well thats the Province I live in.Lots a jobs here and lots of cash here.Free Health care for all that live in Alberta also.
And Alberta is the only debt free province in Canada.Alberta is the place to be here in Canada(Sorry Frank.lol)We can't find enough people here in Alberta to fill all the job openings.
But I'll warn you,summers are short here and it gets darn cold with lots of snow.

Jeff, I realize this is still the greatest country in the world just very discouraged at the direction we have and are headed. I'm over it and you are correct I'm not a runner. I'm just telling myself that if there are not drastic improvements in these next 4 years the democrats will get tossed even with the imbalance. This gives me hope. GOP still has the house so hope and change will have to compromise as much as it kills him. Better not blame it on Bush anymore.
