I had a pretty darned big garden and I had to share it with various squirrels, birds, raccoons (temporarily - I'm armed) and Istill barely had enough for two people to enjoy some good, fresh, organic veggies. I could deal with a cellar full of Dom Perignon. It's pricey for areason and I sure as hell don't have the money for something like that, but I'd not turn it down either. Whatever happened to some of you? Instead of countering a comment from someone on one extreme, you don't have to stretch to the other extreme. I knowthings are pretty bad when I'm more of a centrist than a radical. Liberals say I'm too conservative. Conservatives say I'm too liberal.Screw the labels. I'm a free thinker. I do agree with Scott on one thing for sure: animals are tasty. Part of my extended family are farm folk. I spent a few summers in my teens helping out atharvest time. I've also lived in various small towns in the south before. Tornadoes. There is a tie-in, so be patient. Have you ever seen cows in a thunderstorm? They seek shelter because they're wet and don't like it. Have you ever seen cows when a tornado is nearbybut they aren't being pelted by hail or driving rain? They stay right in the same spot, blissfully chomping down on grass. I think they're cute andall, but dumber than dirt. They deserve to be eaten. Same goes for birds such as chickens and turkeys. They aren't much smarter, but they grill pretty welltoo.
