In my mind, the death penalty imposed on so few speaks to barbarism. The numbers are so small, the money involved in jailing them for life is minisculecompared to the hundreds of thousands in jail that shouldn't be. 15 years for smoking crack? Justify that! Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocatingor defending the use of crack. With numbers this small, there's no argument as to the cost to taxpayers to house murderers for life! Maybe what I heard was something about a minor'being' on death row, or maybe that it was in some jurisdiction external to that of the US. I know I heard something about a minor on death row.I'll continue to seek.
