If your qualified with the hair, then what difference does it make to them if you have it or you don't. I would think that in your field, inovation,ingenuity and skill are the order of the day, and from what I understand...you have them. Tell them the hair is part of your creative control, and if theydon't like it, then too bad.<br><br>Ed

Forget about the image/professionalism/potentialclient opinion/whatever debate. Let's just look at numbers. I have no idea what an architect of Greg's experience makes, either here or in LA. Let's just pick a number that I'm relatively sure would be the very least - and I'm probably quite low - but let's say $50,000 a year. Now,Greg is being offered a position where he will likely double that - $100,000. That's an extra $1000 a week. Do you realize how much of a difference thatwould make in not just current lifestyle but also future security (assuming one uses a portion of the difference to invest)? And that's just based on abare-bones number of $50,000! What if he's making $75,000? $100,000? $150,000?<br><br>"Ah, screw it, I want to keep my hair."!?!?!?!????????????<br><br>And I'm betting that Greg's just as creative with short hair as with long...<br><br>At what point does sanity overtake vanity?<br><br>Doug<br>

got to do what will make you happy and from your post there is A LOT more to consider than just hair money is nice but will not be worth it if the new gigmakes you miserable
Hair will grow back, "gigs" tend to vanish without a trace......
