Mans best friend. Whats Your take on this breed?

There is nothing wrong with the breed. It is normally how they are brought up that is the problem. Certain people get them, train them to be mean, treat them like crap, don't neuter them, and let them run all over. Pits and Rotwielers are both breeds that get a bad rap, and both are great dogs. There are some chasing issues bred into them, but if they are properly brought up and kept from roaming they won't be a problem. We used to walk dogs at the local Humaine Society and stopped, because the shelter was overrun with pits from the city and the wife would get upset because the ones she liked got put down regularly. Luckily she is allergic to dogs or we would have at least 35 dogs at the house right now.
