It's natural for as all, including moderators, to have an opinion on whatever subject comes up but it's how wecontrol our conduct towards each other in the discussion that matters & if the thread is deemed appropriate.

Has it become mildly political? Well, kinda I guess, but the original question was whether we like or dislike a certain film producer. I think we have stayedaway from dicussing politics directly and have kept it mostly civil. I am sure if we leave these parameters it will be shut down no matter who has responded toit.

Well since I'm being called out here, and that Dave is being his usual cheerleader self, I say to you Greg that if what you said was true, why would I haveleft up all the posts that disagree with the position? Is it mildly political? Yes. But, as others have stated, it was mostly about the filmmaker. We werewatching to see if the bait would be taken and it denigrated into all out argument. Since it didn't, and people kept their cool for once, we let it rideand for once in a long time I chimed in on a topic - rather mildly I would say.<br><br>I can go back and delete all the comments praising Michael Moore while leaving up the critical ones. Then you and Dave can complain.<br>More to the point, though, you don't see the number of posts that I have deleted in the past - including ones that I agreed with. There have been plenty.I've been called a socialist because of it, too.<br>Just can't please everyone.<br>
