Andy, just because a person calls for the death penalty does not make them a killer. c'mon dude, thats a horrible stereotype. i believe in the deathpenalty because there are certain crimes that i strongly believe need to be punished by death. and those would be any form of murder, or the taking of anotherpersons life other than by a true accident or self defense of ones self or another person. ven aperson who drives drunk and kills someone i feel should be putdo death, that might be harsh but that would really cut down on people gettin behind the wheels drunk. and... child rapists, they just are the lowest scum onearth and don't deserve to breath. there should be no lethal injection, gas chair or hanging. either firing squad or beheading, quick and over with. theconvicted would get one appeal, just one...if that appeal fell through..in two days they were dead. simple as that. no more of this on death row for yearstrying to find some bleeding heart judge or governor that will stay there execution. the poor person that POS murdered or that poor child they rapeddoesn't get anything...now do they. its not about right wing or left wing, its about whats right and whats not. there are punishments to face forcommitting crimes...end of story.

My comments imply that I'd spare the guys life (like I would your's should I find myself at your Capital Punishment trial). Jurors exist in a civil society that hold the Rule of Law as one of its highest tenets. You should feel very lucky to live in a society that would afford you that, and NOT haul you outback and put a bullet in your head minutes after a lopsided unfair sham trial like they do in a lot of Eastern countries and not unlike those of your own Salem witch trials. Hey, just do what King Harrod did, kill 'em all, even the innocents, so you make sure you get the right one! Referencing of fictional movies as if they were NONfiction or even relevant to your encounter?<br>3. Everywhere else, but the topic of "your" discussion at the time of the encounter?<br>4. I fully understand, sympathize, and empathize with the families of victims of such hideous crimes, and the sentiments of some of you guys (ever hear of WillyPicton near Vancouver. Actually, he lived just down the road from Karen. He's serving a sentence for the murder of 6 women from the Vancouver area and isaccused of at least 44 more where he killed them with a gun in a dildo, and/or injections of engine coolant, then fed them to his pigs which were later sent tomarket where unsuspecting consumers then ate the meat. They sifted the soil his property and found zillions of tiny particles of chewed up bone where the pigscrapped. This is hideous. He's doin' life, and now our country, and yours is a little safer). The D.P. has been proven not to be very much of adeterent, and I maintain that it's MORE important to protect the possible innocent from such a fate. I just think it's taking the high road. Isn'tthat what society wants from me or us? It takes a helluva lot more strength to maintain the high road. Anybody can just say ah kill 'em all. And besides,there are a lot more important underlying problems in society that should be dealt with so we don't keep finding ourselves in this mess. I am no squeamishbleeding heart Liberal, I'd kill ya in a second if I had to. I spent most of my high school years kickin' the crap out of bullies who prayed on theweak. I shoulda been a cop. My Mom always wanted me to be an RCMP. I wouldn't really want to shoot someone, but gimmee a high speed pursuit anyday. Itwould be interesting to know what it was like on the chase side rather than the chased. We used to ride our dirt bikes and snowmobiles down some roads to getto the trails. Occassionally, our friends the OPP Officers Olmstead and White would be on patrol out in the country and encounter us. We'd tease them witha few wheelies or doughnuts (not those donuts), then the chase would be on, and all in good fun. We tried to get away just for the sake of fun. I know theywere having fun too, they just had a job to do. I was never charged. Things were different back then. Society wasn't so hard edged. I see the first attack (mild) was on me from 6pak, then shortly after on Greg from Adam with the Thanksgiving thing and the tree hugger thing, then in jumpedDave and Jamie (one of whom said something about me making too many posts. You carried it on Dude, not me. Had to get the last word in eh! And when attacked,I'll defend myself, and not with a spatula Adam). They misunderstand what you say and if you don't agree with them, they then attack you, create chaos,the subject gets lost and they feel they are right and are the victors. Typical right wing mentality! I talked to a VP of a major financial institution yearsback to ask why is it that a right wing government causes so much chaos in society, and he told me that the wealthy right exists and prospers better amidstchaos. And talk aboutthe subject getting lost, this post was not about left or right wing, it was about opinion on what the outcome of one trial should be. I think you lost that inthe midst of attacking all would dare to disagree with you. Neither of you get it! I didn't attack Catholics either, I commented on CatholicIZM, of which, I, was born into (not my choice) and am supposed to be. Inever really went for it, so I can't call myself a 'Recovering Catholic'. It seems to me when the church attacks gays, they say "We are notagainst them, we are against what they do". Same thing with how I might speak. Did I attack any one named person, NO! Was MY name used when told to takemy ball and go home or any of the other things said? YES. Why the double standard? I don't think some of you hold yourselves to the same standard that youhold me to. And as far as this 'true religeon' thing goes, this was in the news lately where the Vatican appealed to Protestants to revert back astheir religeon is bogus and not the one true religeon. The Catholics want to see salvation for the Protestants. Talk about imposing beliefs on someone else. Iside with the Protestants on this one. I don't blame them for the Reformation in Europe. Who wants to send all their money somewhere else and not use itlocally, or answer to an entity who is removed from your situation, but insists on ruling you. I'm not one sided. If anything my political inclination liesjust right of centre, but more so on the entire spectrum. So please, without knowing me or who I am, hold off the 'personal' attacks.
