As much respect as I have for Torre, IMHO he miss managed his pitching staff miserably. D'Lowe was on cruise control. Gotta leave him in for at least onemore inning. He had way to quick a hook with his relief staff. I think he might have used 4 alone in one frame. Seems like buzzed through all of his optionsby the 7th.<br><br>My Sox were tough to watch last night. I agree with you about Torre's pitching decisions, Joe... it seemed like the wrong time to put a twenty-something year old kid in... I'm afraidit's looking pretty grim for the Dodgers...<br><br>Greg

That left only 7 remaining picks: 6 for Tampa Bay and 1 for Philadelphia (bill58 stands alone there). Right now, both of those teams are leading the series 3-1. I don't want to speak too soon, because anything can happen in baseball (and often does). But it looks like it may not be much of contest. Over 75% of the contestants could get knocked out. I won't be watching the World Series if it comes to that, because I just don't care about either team one way or the other. With the Angels winning 100 games <img src="http://www.ezboard.com/image/posticons/pi_freak.gif" alt="image">, and theCubs running away early winning a weak division, it's easy for the casual B'Ball fan just tuning in at the end of the season to have overlooked theRays and Phillies. <br><br>The Rays, won what is possibly the hardest division in baseball, coming in just behind the Angels and Cubs for the best record in the entire MLB. They won theseason series with Boston as well.<br><br>And the Phillies have been knocking on the Door for the past 5 yrs, finally breaking through last year. They were 4 games behind the Mets mid Sept, and endedup overtaking them, winning the toughest division in the NL. They've always had a nasty lineup, but in the past their middle relief has let them down. Not this year. For the most part that Phillies staff is pitching lights out.<br><br>Both teams are the real deal.<br><br>Though the fat lady is yet sing in the AL. The Rays still have to seal the deal with the Sox.
