Ick. Looks like a crumbler. I've seen better looking mobiles (cell phones) in the hand of 13-year-old girls.<br><br>I think they should have remade one of the original redlines in platinum with a cool but funky "ice" candy (spectraflame) paint. In my opinion,something along the lines of a Custom Camaro or even a RLBB done out of fully-polished platinum, then painted with a candy red. For wheels, they could havethem made of a black stone with ruby redline "rings" inset (Earl, help me out here on which stones could be used to class it up instead of tackybling crap). If they used the Camaro body, they could even use rubies for the tail lamps and diamond headlamps. That should be more than enough bling.

yuck....I guess it goes with all that junk they crank out currently.....Id love to send that thing down the track! WOOOOHOOOOO!

I was wondering about this when I read it on HWC earlier today. They said they were going to auction it off later this year but that Mattel spent over $140K tohave it made. I think Bruce and Sid would be the only ones (that I know of) that can afford it, but are you guys even interested?<br>It is truly one of a kind, but not as cool as the rare redlines you collect. I'm with you guys, that car does nothing for me. Someone with money will buy it, but not a collector. What does Nick Lachey have to do with hot wheelsexactly? I could see a drag racer, nascar driver, or famous car builder, but this doesn't make much sense to me. I've been a fan of Mattel forever,but I think they need someone with a collectors mindset in there marketing department in a bad way when it comes to hot wheels branding.<br><br>Also, if anyone cares, there are at least a dozen collectors I'm aware of that could afford to buy that car, but I'd bet none of them will.
