70's Glam/Rock
I've been cruising You Tube a lot lately and looking up various bands like the ones in these videos.
Some of them are pretty funny, but there's also some really great music. I miss those days.
Enjoy,
John
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFKZNo-mmpg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3UODv3aCVxg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O8oGyGo1q-k
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-MePaQmP88g
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ylww2dOW7fg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZrBDivsSe3k
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=urEVpwH6dbg
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JUsUI-txQbM
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ROxDBpMCffU

I have a secret....... I've always hated to admit it. I really like Roxy Music. LOL

I can admit I'm openly Mott the Hoople fan.

There is a pretty cool The Sweet documentary somewhere. I think it's on YouTube somewhere.

There's nothing wrong with liking Roxy Music. If you read enough music publications, you get to know that some of the most talented and important artistsof the music world have all been influenced by such "embarrassing" acts such as The Carpenters. It takes the sting out of liking "Rainy Days andMondays" knowing that Billy Corgan and Eddie Vedder like it too.

Besides, "Avalon" was one of the most romantic and sensuous albums ever made. And it was a huge inspiration to dozens of bands that you would neverthink of. It has made Rolling Stone magazine's "Greatest Albums Ever" list a few times. And Roxy Music was a great band in their own right. I ownseveral CD's.

Listen to the range, listen to the clarity, LISTEN to the emotion............ Avalon, PLEASE!!!!! Crap on it's best day........
