Raider fans are precious...
They have this idea that there team is a viable force in the NFL. They get let down year and again, yet still have this belief system that is tragicallyflawed...
Beer, chips, and wife beater shirts...that is Raider fans. Oh, and those silly painted faces...maybe something is in the make up that leads them to believe...
Oh, another really funny about the Raiders: COMMITMENT TO EXCELLENCE. Now THAT is funny!!

Oh yeah, and then there's that silly little international sporting event going on over there in some little Asian country, that started today....

Greg

As a side note... 08/08/08 is the luckiest of all lucky days for the Chinese, as 8 is considered one of the luckiest numbers.

Yup, lots of people of Chinese people buying lotto tickets today! It's like...whatever!!
hmmmmmmmmmm...you mentioned the Olympics...hmmmmmmmmmmmm...
I'll start a post about it....

My wife's birthday. We just got back from birthday dinner.
John
Happy Birthday to your Wife!! Hope you Kids had a great Dinner and maybe I will see you two in L.A.!!

Scott Your a cowboys fan I will not even give them a capital c.......nuff said.....

Raider Nation!!
Go Chiefs.

Scott: Look at what Oakland is geographically close to (just across the little bridge thingy there). There's a reason why their supporters have faith in atragically flawed system.

I am seriously curious though (seriously...no...really...the next part is mostly a serious inquiry):

Living half way between Denver and KC, the "fans" in my area have a tendency to shift allegences. If KC is doing well (most of the 90s) they'reKC fans. If Denver is doing well (back-to-back gimme Superbowls so John Whinelway can have a ring and keep the "greatest QB class" from being 0-ferin the big game), then the fans shift to follow Denver.

I think Oakland fans are hardcore (which isn't a necessarily a bad thing when it comes to sports except the part about stabbing fans of opposingteams---this isn't soccer for cryin' out loud), but I do wonder if allegences shift between the Raiders and 49ers based on success v."excellence."

Joel.
John, tell your lovely HAPPY BIRTHDAY for me, OK?

Back to the Raiders...Once a Raider fan, always a Raider fan...Kind of like the Marines, but the Marines I respect greatly...
