Unemployed

I left for work this morning thinking... Good its payday! Well upon arrival, I was immediately told by some people that have direct deposit, that the moneywasn't in their account this morning.......Not good!! A little while later someone from our corporate office arrived, to explain that some deals fellthrough, our company is broke, they're closing the doors.......and there is no money left for payroll (they owe me around a month's pay, and I don't know if I'll ever seethe money!!!) They are supposedly, still trying to put something together to pay us employees, and will possibly try to start back up on a smallerscale.......Unbelievable!!!!!!

Sorry for the long read, I just needed to vent!

I'm a member of that club right now. Being unemployed sucks in many ways. I wish you the best of luck.

Sorry for the long read, I just needed to vent!
That's understandable. I'd be p.o'd and upset too. I hope they're able to work something out sothey can at least pay everyone what they're owed. Fingers are crossed for you that you are able to find work elsewhere pretty quick.

~Karen
I wish you all the best.Try to ward off resentment and discouragement. There are going to be some hard times ahead.A positive attitude is the key to making itthrough.I hope I can take my own advice if the time comes.---mike
From being in that situation before, I thought that they have to pay you for your work, if they don't it is illegal. They tried to buy that same line withme as weel, that they were spending too much money and that they might be closing down and that they need to cut me and a few other employess immediately, andthat we might not get paid. I know how bad your proabably venting. I would tell them I want my month's salary now and don't care what you have to do,but I want my money now.
Eric
