I can't take much more of this.......

<p>As many of you know, my Dad passed away on the 9th. Well today there is more sadness for me, as we had to put my best friend in my avatar to sleep. He'dbeen sick for a while now, and the vets couldn't figure anything out, and today he had either a seizure or a heart attack, while in my arms. He looked sosad, he even had tears in his eyes when whatever happend had passed! This is when I realized he was probably suffering, and what needed to be done. I'm sad to hear of your friends passing. I lost my 15 yr old black lab last Feb, so I know how you feel. My wife actually gave him to me, to help getover my father's passing.<br><br>Hang in there Russ, time will help the hurt. After my sidekick Casey, a Golden, looked at me one day after falling 6"! off my deck one too many times, I knew he had had enough.He was 3 months shy of 16, Muscular Degeneration the Vet said. I miss him to this day! (about 8 yrs now)I'm so sorry for both your losses. The last time I ever saw my dog he was happily following the Vetinto the examination room. Some hours later I got the call I'll never forget. I feel for ya big time! Bad things come in 3s, so after sitting in your housewith no power for days, then losing your Dad, then losing your dog, maybe things can only get a bit better, and they will! Wow Russ a lot of bad losses lately. I feel for you man it really hurts. On the bright side though with all this bad hitting and hurting you that just means alot of GOOD to make up for the losses. So hopefully this will be the last sad post from ya buddy. Think of the good times as others have said and it will makeit easier. Take care my friend and don't lose hope there's ups and there's downs all throughout life and this just happens to be a down followedsoon by a huge upward lifting.
