HOW MANY OF YOU REMEMBER THESE?

Blinking? You must be young. LOL. My set didn't, and with the double C batteries in there, and using my bike more as a mountain bike before there were suchthings, the bracket broke fairly quickly and it never made it back on my bike. I still have it though!<br><br>Jeff

Not that exact one, but one similar. I remember a friend having one of those on his Stingray, but I don't recall him ever using it (probably didn't work). But, that was the very earlyeighties, and one of the things (of dubious coolness) to do was affix a whip antenna adorned with an orange flag to the back of your bike (we would bend themount so the antenna stuck out at a 90-degree angle from the bike and catch people in the back of the legs as we rode past).

You guys are all pups! When I was a kid if you wanted lights on your bike you had to work your butt off, the old generators that spin by rubbing against yourtire were like having a passenger. This is me in 1952 on my uncles Alberts brand new Schwinn that cost $100. that was a chunk of change for a paperboy to comeup with. It had all the bells and whistles, even a speedometer.
