What color should I paint the Montego? Watch this VIDEO I made to help me decide....

In my attempts to visualize how the car I just bought ('69 Mercury Montego)<br>would look in different colors, I took one of the photos I have of it in it's<br>current flat black paintjob, and used Photoshop to change the color of the paintjob.<br>Then I ran a slideshow of the pics, which employed a fade transition between the colors,<br>which really looked great. I'm really liking one of the dark orange colors. One of the bright colors (not burnt) - like a cadmium.

THe dark purple

As it sits (the music helps this a little), the car definitely has a certain "Road Warrior" look to it (sans fuel cells, mindless savages, red dust,etc.). Awesome car...I'm on the darkish-orange bandwagon...a good, unique color that will stand out in a crowd and you won't see yourself coming orgoing. Just don't put any stickers on it...

I think you should make it change all colors just like the video. <img src="http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/tongue.gif" alt="image"><br><br>Just kidding. They all look great to me. In the end it's a personal choice that you're gonna make no matter what anyone says. So I gotta believe youjust wanted to show the video.<br><br>And thanks for doing that, because it's cool and you did a great job on it.

The color that reminded me of spectraflame magenta really popped to me and is a color you won't see on every other car at the show. Second, I like thelighter of the two blues shown.

I like that blue.Magenta would also be a good choice.Both colors would make the chrome and that grill stand out.

I'd like to see that in an ice blue with the purple undertones! But, I do like that blue color.
