Here where I live the gas prices jump like 10-15 cents overnight, but when they start coming down they only drop like 2 cents a week. whats up with that?

In alittle over a week gas went from $2.17 up to $2.47 to $2.43 for regular as of yesterday in NJ...<br><br><br><br>DON

Here in Okla. it has jumped from 2.23 to 2.59 in one week, and I have three 350 v8's in my garage I need to buy something cheaper on gas huh? LOL
2.38 last week, 2.65 this morning. good day to drive a prius.

Never once saw prices drop 19 cents in one day, but they sure as heck went up 19 cents a gallon one day last week.<br><br>Another bunch of crooks (oil future traders) and the next investment bubble (unregulated trading in oil future contracts) that will continue us on our way outas a world economic superpower.....<br><br>Bob Jordan
<font color="#CC0000">I had read that some plants shut down for maintainance. This sounds like bull to me. <br><br>There is also a fire in an oil refinery in Puerto Rico. A fire that has lasted several days. As I recall , my dad told me that the oil from Venezuela isrefined in PR. So maybe this is the new excuse. Perhaps , US companies should up the charges for the US items imported to these oil producing countries. Price of oil goes up,then the price of grain, meat, Chevies, Fords, etc goes up too....<br><br>This is where the gov't needs to step in and doesn't.<br><br><br>maribell</font>
