New Challenger Hood
Got my new Mr. Norms Super Stock this week and put it on yesterday. The scoop is 3" in the back and progresses to 5" in the front.I love the way it looks now i have to decide whether i should have it painted body color or organisol, which is textured satin black paint which was used on the original T/A's and AAR's. Your opinions, bad or good are welcome.

Re: New Challenger Hood
Looks great! One vote for "textured satin black".

Re: New Challenger Hood
I think it looks good as it is plus keeping clean shouldnt be a problem. Organisol will fade and will crack...
I vote leave it as is it looks good blacked out if you decide to paint it later its no biggie.

Re: New Challenger Hood
mark you still messin with those mopars/lol
please tell me you still have some vintage iron around.i say paint it body color then leave outside edge body color and middle the flat black.scoop is nice but kinda to big for me.heck you might as well throw the daytona body kit on it now.;)
how are things?you ever see john j any more?

Re: New Challenger Hood
Leave it black. I was never a big fan of those type of scoops but I must say, on that car it looks perfect.

Re: New Challenger Hood
I had a Six Pack hood on my '71 Duster and always loved the view from behind that big scoop. Nicely done, it looks great. And I vote for the satin black...keep it simple...

Not BIG enough..:001_tongue:

Re: New Challenger Hood
Paint everything but the scoop, then use body color for a graphics design on that bug catcher.
