been looking for a new project for some time now
found this on craiglist
1938 ford pickup
chopped a bit LOL
40 merc frame(speedholes galore)
283 chev with a 3 speed stick
split wishbones front and rear
ford banjo rear
nice start for a lakester style rod

the truck needs a ton of work but thats what i love to do so its a perfect fit
and it was in the direction i liked

not going to be a rat rod
more of a bonneville inspired rod
going to look like it was built in the late 50's to run on the lake bed
should be kinda neat
got alot of work to do

nice if i was working on it i'd make it a rat rod i'd leave the paint as it is and fix up the rest. when you finish it you should take it to the salt flats for some photos.
