Any hope for this Beach Bomb?
Stumbled upon this. Thought about getting it as is, and maybe starting a little redline junkyard, or body shop.

I think I am going to go for the truck like on American Pickers.
Re: Any hope for this Beach Bomb?
Restore it, it will be a tough one to restore but it can be done.
Re: Any hope for this Beach Bomb?
If you do restore it, take pictures... before, during, and after. I've heard of people baking cars (after the paint is stripped, and the base and windows are removed, of course) and being able to get the metal to a bit more malleable state.
Re: Any hope for this Beach Bomb?
I see a custom pickup type of conversion.
Re: Any hope for this Beach Bomb?
Stick it in your case just like it is!!
Re: Any hope for this Beach Bomb?
I like the custom pickup idea! Sent it to me! I'll do it! ;)

Re: Any hope for this Beach Bomb?
I thought about sticking it in my case as is... I do like the truck idea. The front seat area looks to be salvagable. It's in a lot, and it would cost me about $40 to get it, and this is the only redline in the group. Wish there was more to make it worthwhile.
Re: Any hope for this Beach Bomb?
Yea, unless there is something in that lot worth something, it's definitely not worth $40. I probably wouldn't pay $0.40 for it, lol
If you do the truck, pictures pictures pictures!
Re: Any hope for this Beach Bomb?
I vote for making a pickup out of it

Re: Any hope for this Beach Bomb?
I actually was able to get this lot of cars for about $18. From the pics, there were a few other 70's-80's blackwalls, and a few older Matchboxes, so I think I did OK.
I should get them in a few days... Stay tuned.
hmmmm
