Prayer needed for many Connecticut Families

Tragedy hit CT today and there's a lot of heavy hearts here and I'm sure across the country. I have a hard time even imagining what these families are dealing with. I believe in prayer very much and these people need much prayer to overcome this tragedy. Make sure you hug your kids and let them know how much you love them!!

So completely senseless. I can't imagine why these things happen but praying for all the families involved.

I am in SHOCK over this...This made me SICK!! I am losing ALL faith in Humanity when a person can do something like this.....

I hear you Drew, pure evil and very hard to grasp. I have a 7 and a 9 year old and can't imagine life without them.

Much prayer needed...

Mental illness rears its ugly head. A qualified professional was interviewed on the news trying to best explain the shooter's mindset, and it was enlightening, but we'll never truly know "why?" Simply heartbreaking all the way around.

No matter what the gov't does, stuff like this can't be prevented. I mean, what's next for schools, bars in all windows and doors? Anyone coming to pick up a kid must be stripped search before entering a building? When teachers are interviewed for jobs, must a record of their family members be also screened? Build classrooms with Safe rooms?

The news is still unfolding. Too many questions and little or no answers? Why did Mrs. Lanza have those weapons? Why have weapons in a home where there you have a son with a possible mental problem? Were the weapons protection for herself against her son? Why no family contact? Why did this sob have his brother's ID? Anyway, Ihope that the answers to some of these questions come out.

Anyway, prayers are definitely needed for the families and friends of all of these victims.


Makes me wonder if this SOB, lowlife scumbag coward did this so that people can remember his name. I for one, believe that the names of mass murderers should NOT be published/broadcasted after the first couple of days of the tragedy. Use initials/date/location and terms like SOB when identifying them. These idiots may feel that they will be famous because people will remember their names forever. There is some truth to this. They may feel that this action glorifies what they did. Anyway, this is true.. ( test yourself... Who killed Versace? Ok... now name the other victims that were killed by the same lunatic. I bet most of you can name the killer but not the other victimes..)

Anyway, this one is a tough one to explain to children.

My sister has a coworker whose boy was among those killed. He was overseas when he got the news and had to be flown back to the US on a private charter flight. That's got to be one of the worst ways to find out that kind of news...

I pray that all the little boys and girls that survived this incident can move on and live normal lives but I'm afraid that might be wishful thinking.

I cannot imagine what these families are going through especially hard for them at this time of year.
It is such a senseless act to take the life of an innocent child that has so much of their life yet to unfold.
I was in shock watching it unfold on tv. I pray for the families that they get strength from everyone gathered around them at this time.
