Has anyone ever bought off of Redfroghobbies.com!!!!

Hi everyone ! I would like to know if anyone on the Board has ever Bought anything off of Redfroghobbies.com Before . They are over seas.I have found that theysell Alclad II chrome paint .Can't get it here anymore. So I have started to look elsewhere. How did you conclude we can't get it over here any more ??? Alclad's website still lists a lot of US suppliers - or are you referring to Canadiansources ? I just checked Horizon Hobbies and they have it in stock - Horizon Hobbies is a major supplier to most all hobby shops, much like Walthers. You canorder it direct or have your local hobby shop order it for you.<br><br>There have been a few places on the Canadian left coast where it has been banned ( as well as some glues ) but it appears to be very isolated instances.<br><br>Also, I see Alclad II chrome is now available in spray cans, and from what I've read, it's every bit as good as the bottled stuff you airbrush ....maybe a bit better !!!<br><br>Mark.

I will look into that .I mean I can't get any Alclad II Chrome here inCanada .I only have 1 hobby store that is close to me .He says his supplier can't get it any more. How have you been Mark I have not heard from you inalong time .I have been Keeping to myself alot lately. Bob - Horizon Hobbies is a distributor. While you CAN purchase from them directly, you'll be paying full retail PLUS shipping !!! If you local hobby shopdeals in any model trains or radio control cars, I guarantee they deal with Horizon Hobbies and can order it for you.<br><br>As for an undercoat for Alclad II , the important thing more than color is that the surface be as smooth and glossy as possible. EDIT for correction above ....<br><br>You're right Tim - I attempted to order different paints and glues from a few places in the US including Horizon .... got all the way to the end of thecheck-out before I was informed the item was unavailable for shipping to Canada. Paint and glue must be ordered through a Canadian distributor who is licencedto import "hazardous chemicals" !!!<br><br>Mark.

<p><strong><br>I deal with Horizon Hobby on a daily basis, I should know.<br></strong><br><strong>I would like to get the paint for him, I just don't want to get busted if the stuff leaks or they just find out what's in the box.</strong><strong>It's a HUGE fine if you get caught.</strong></p>
