RAOKS on a Mission

ROAKS, they are new underground hit of every convention. Many of us who have handed out ROAKS in the past havealso donated to the Charity Auction. So I thought, wouldn't it be cool to gather up as many ROAKS as possible and put one huge lot in the Charity auction.Let's call it the "ROAKS on a Mission." Think about it, one lot of cars that everyone wants, that were made with one thing in mind"KINDNESS" All limited in number and all made from the minds and imaginations of you the collectors. All of equal value and its all for TheChildren's Miracle Network. If you'd like to participate let me know via e-mail loride57@wideopenwest.com and I'll start putting together a list of participants. I will keep the list and your cara secret until the auction to build up the anticipation. Besides I would hate to post a car and then something happen where it's not in the lot. (Almostall my Garden Grove cars got damaged in shipping last year) Of course feel free to post them yourself if you wish. Then just come see me at the Convention anddrop off you're your ROAKS and I'll but it all together. I'll be arriving at the convention on Tuesday. I'm easy to find. Look for me at almostevery Autograph session working the lines, or look for my room on the hall signs, it's the one with the Detroit Rock City logo. Or just ask any Staffmember for Joe Alvarado. I'll also post my room number on this board once I check in. So what do you say guys and gals? Are you in? Remember "ROAKS ona Mission" the not so Random Act Of KindnesS.

Disclaimer: "ROAKS on a Mission" is not affiliated, endorsed or sponsored by Mattel or the Not Wheels Newsletter. I am greatful that the Mods of this Board have found it worthy of keeping at the top. Thanks Guys for your support.

Joe

My daughter Tia (11) talked me into leting her customize a car to pass out this year. I told her that if she wanted to do this she had to do everthing herself.I drilled it out stripped and reassembled it for her but her did all the painting and masking for the stripes, and she did it all with spray cans. WOW!!!!!!!!did she do a great job if I say so myself.
