Some of my favorites have already been mentioned (Star Trek, Soap, etc.), but two shows that I rarely missed (if ever!) were the original Battlestar Galactica(sorry, but I loved the whole Egyptian "lost tribe" concept) and WKRP in Cincinnati (who could ever forget Loni Anderson?!? ). My favorite episode of WKRP had to be the Thanksgiving episode where the"Pinewood shopping mall has just been bombed with live turkeys! Film at 11:00!". And then Mr. Carlson (Gordon Jump) stating, with all earnestness, "As Godis my witness, I thought turkeys could fly!". Classic!

Kevin
It was before my time but fortunately growing up in the 80's there was Nick at Nite and i got to watch all the good old shows before bed time. My favoriteswere:

Dobie Gillis -this show was my favorite. Work Maynard!!! Work!!!!
Get Smart
H.R. Puffinstuff
CHIP's
The Munsters
The Hitchcock Hour
The Twilight Zone
The Dukes of Hazzard- Crap story lines but the car chases were so damn cool.
Knight Rider- Had the luxury of watching this show when it was on the air. But only could stand to watch episodes where the Hoff didn't sing. The episodeswith the big rig Goliath and KITTs evil twin KARR effing up Michael Knight were my favorites. I always seemed to enjoy seeing Hasslehoff getting his butthanded to him even if it came at the expense of KITT. Always wished they made an episode where KITT ditched his goofy owner and went out on the town. Thatwould have been sweet!!!

Can't believe I forgot Chips as well, also Swamp Thing, Gilligans Island and Married with Children.
Eric
