RLOL Christmas Contest. CLOSED.

<font size="4" face="Comic Sans MS">It's that time of year again when we start thinking about Christmas. If you were here last year you might remember the Christmas contest I did for all RLOL members. Well it was such a huge success last year and I had so much fun doing it that I want to do it again this year. All you had to do to be entered into the contest was to buy a toy and donate it to a Christmas Charity to benefit children who otherwise wouldn't have a Christmas without generous people like us donating to their cause. The rules are simple just to make it fair to everyone involved. <br><br></font> <font size="4" face="Comic Sans MS">First of all, your gift must be, at minimum, $10.00 (before taxes). You may donate as many toys as you want, there's definitely no limit on that, but to make it fair to everyone the minimum cost must be the same. So $10.00 gets you a chance at the prize. Regardless of how many toys you buy, your name will only be entered into the drawing one time. <br><br></font> <font size="4" face="Comic Sans MS">Secondly, I didn't do this last year, but again, to make it fair to everyone, you need to post a picture of your receipt showing the amount spent along with the toys you're donating. I want to make this perfectly clear so that there are no misunderstandings. The gift must be new, purchased solely for this contest. It can't be something you've had in your closet or tucked away somewhere. You need to go out and buy a toy and drop it off at any of your local Toys for Tots or Tree of Hope or any other Christmas charity out there. As with last year, a picture of you dropping the toy(s) off would be great as well. <br><br></font> <font size="4" face="Comic Sans MS"><span style="color: rgb(0, 102, 51); font-weight: bold;">This contest will run from December 1st until December 23rd</span> and is open to ALL RLOL members. <span style="font-weight: bold;">Noon on December 23rd will be the cut off time to get your pictures and receipt posted to be qualified for the contest.</span> I will do the drawing on Christmas Eve and post the winner on the board. <br><br></font> <font size="4" face="Comic Sans MS">All pictures must be posted on this thread only to qualify for the prize. <br><br></font> <font size="4" face="Comic Sans MS">One last thing, although this is a Hot Wheels site not all kids are into Hot Wheels so please remember that when buying toys to donate. Don't forget older kids and teenagers too. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh yesssssssssss...very cool...here we go again!<br>I will certainly participate this year, but unfortunately can't do what I did last year (remember saving the change all year and using it for a goodcause?).<br>I had to tap into the change early this year as a friend of mine's friend had a motorcycle tank explode in his face and nearly killed him. No insurance,and a LOT of medical expenses, so I cashed in my change to help this guys family.<br>I will, however, find a couple of toys to donate, but it just won't be as Santa like this year.<br>Thanks to Karen and Chris for the generous donations again this year, it's awesome and warms the heart...gosh, that sounds so mushy...<img src="http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/laugh.gif" alt="image"><br>Rock on!

Twinny,<br>It is very nice of you to do this again.<br>Ass with every year I will be doing "toy runs" with the hotrods. We already did one to a childrens hospital. We had 90 cars and Police escorts, itwas really cool.
