Didn't I just see this posted here? Or is this another one?
Sure did. It's on page two now.
http://redlinesonlinemessageboard.yuku.com/topic/31606
Some real nice pictures on the site!

Tim
...But worth checking back on. Another 7 pages of pictures added in a week ! --p
I just love flipping through those, it reminds me there really is nothing there I need that bad!!
Hey Dan how come you hate Wally world so much TTYS.
Mario.
Mario,
Some people don't like capitalism and companies that have great success for some reason.
Wal-Mart is the largest retailer in the world, and is very successful. They employ thousands of people. Their business plan works, they have plenty ofcustomers from all walks of life, they never seem to have a shortage of employees either. It's a no frills place to shop at a discount. Other retailerstry to make shopping an "experience", which I can give two rips about, I'd rather pay less for less. What's not to like about that?
Oh, and the bonus is is that they are non-union! Even better!!!

If I had blown both hands blown off, I could count on one finger then time Peeping Bung and I agreed on something............ NON-UNION!!!! And for all ofthose flag waving the profits go back to Wally? Everything they sell is from C.H.I.N.A. BRING ME MORE!!!!!!!
Yeah sorry, I can't get excited about their policy of running U.S. companies out of business in their quest for the last nickel.
I am not going to pay much more for staple items for my household just to say "We don't shop at Wal Mart". Doesn't make a whole lof of senseto me.

And I feel just the other way about it, i'm not going to shop at wasmart just to save a few Penny's on toilet paper and shampoo and have to fightall the stinky cheese balls that shop there!!

I hate that place sooo much I could almost...........Just look at the people that shop there!! And that's about it!!

I understand what you mean, but those same type of people shop everywhere else too, including wherever you do shop. From the most exclusive shops to thecheapest markets, that section of society exists. Also, for me personally, I don't even notice the other customers in a store when I shop for the mostpart. I am there to get in, get what I need, and get it home.

I do like the site though and I am glad they update it, because it is very funny for sure!
Maybe some of the shoppers shop there as a means to survive on a limited income, which may not be their fault. Some people are down on their luck, or havedisabilities or other situations that may put them on the lower income level. They could be in a rut that they cannot get out of, or are working on gettingout of. So they can't afford the nicest clothes. They could be survivors of some very rough times. I don't believe we should think we are classierthan them, just more fortunate.
Count your blessings before you call someone you don't know, or know their circumstances in life, "cheese balls".

Gosh, I feel so compassionate. That being said, I bookmarked the site to stay up to date with it. Some of the pics/captions are people seeking attention likesome people like to do. I liked the Waldo guy...

We were at Costco yesterday having lunch after shopping, and my wife said the guy behind me needs to be on a website...he had a long braided beard. She saidsomeone should take his picture. I said he is a LOT bigger than me, and I'm certainly not going to take the pic. How brave or crazy are the people takingthese pictures at Wal-Mart????
That's all true but it's a cycle we should break IMO. Many are making little money because they no longer can make decent money making televisions, refrigerators, ovens, bicycles....well, you name it.

Not long ago refrigerators had a minimum 2 year warranty. You could find them with 5. Now you can't find one with more than 6 months. It's because theyare crap. You save up front but lose in the long run and work at 7-11.
I agree there are some crazy people shopping at Walmart...but they are also shopping everywhere else, someone just hasnt made a site about it yet.

I shop at Walmart for convenience. I could go to Target for "every day" stuff, HEB for groceries, then Autozone to get my oil change stuff, then HomeDepot to get furnace filters, then the pet store to get cat food and litter, landscaping supply shop for mulch and fertilizer...yada yada yada

OR, I can go to ONE store, maybe save "only a few pennies" per item, but also a day of running ALL OVER town trying to hit all these otherplaces...and for what...to say I am "better" for not having shopped at Walmart?
Working in retail my whole live has jaded me in a way. I see people lots of people everyday. All kinds of people day in and day out. I lost sympathy for thosethat do not try to better them self because they are OK with living off the coat tails of everyone else. They have to shop at Walmart because Walmartshut down everything else and they don't buy but from China. But That's not Walmarts fault!! It's your fault for shopping there!!

A Famus quote from one of my customers " YOU ALL TAKE EBT UP IN HERE?"

Dan..retype what you just said....
To each his/her own, but I'll go the extra distance and pay the extra buck to help keep the vanishing mom-and-pop stores (no unions and yes, they are herein Long Beach - I can recommend good ones for hardware, food and car parts) in business. Besides, the "Indiana Jones"-type adventure it requires tolocate any damned thing in a big-box store after parking 150 yards away takes the same amount of time. But, that's just me...
I think alot of it has to do with where you live too.

In bigger areas you DO have tons of choices. You can go to all those places and its just as convenient.

In Cincy if you wanted daily stuff you could do Target, Meijer, Walmart, Kmart and many other places.

You get Target and Walmart here....and I've never cared for Targets "style" of paying extra for "fluff". Alot of times you just wantwhat you want, get it and be done with it.
Yeah, Adam, you're right, to a degree (I say). Small stores are vaporizing like farts in the wind because they're smaller, more expensive and can'tcompete with the big guys because of that (and selection isn't going to be as good). But, those small stores were all we had until recent history and theywere/are everywhere. Smaller towns (Danville, CA, where I was raised and crashed alot of cars, Havasu City, AZ, San Luis Obispo, etc.) have them in the voidsand shadows of hulking Home Depots and Wal-Marts which are currently sprouting. But...that's my experience and our land is wide and varied.
? Why? did it come out wrong? or do I smell like butt????
It just makes no sense.
I am counting my blessings that in my business we must "Buy American" per the "Buy American Act."

Walmart?

I never shop there either...
I understood what he said. He said people complain about Wal-Mart and their policies but keep on shopping there anyways.
Very good 1Perry...I understood it that way too!

Some people it just takes a little longer...
Walmart doesn't buy only from China. Milk , cookies, chips, etc.. That's all from here in the USA. In some areas, Walmarts sell more items like meatand vegetables. That stuff comes from the USA. They are cheaper than everyone else. Yes. You have to be an idiot or loaded to go out of your way and paymore money for your items. Also there are plenty of other stores that have stuff from China. I like Walmart. My kid works for Walmart in electronics. Hecomes across all types. Well, he came across all types of people too when he worked for Target and also when he worked for a supermarket on Long Island calledGuinta's MEAT FARM.

Like Adam said, why go to 5 stores when you can get everything at one.

If the gov't wants to curb the import of Chinese goods than they have to do what Argentina did, a tax on ALL imported goods. People over there still buyimported goods but they have to pay a premium. Instead of buying a Sony Playstation, they have the option of buying an electronics video system that is madein Argentina. (I don't recall the name of that system now.) Don't just pick on Walmart. Chinese items are everywhere.

maribell

I just wanted to note that I am not involved in this particular controversy yet.
Save me a seat, ok?

J/K, I'm putting my ten foot pole down now...
I don't agree that anyone is an idiot for shopping elsewhere. We shop where we want and for whatever reasons we want. I choose to save money wherever Ican, and will splurge on occasion...
I conserve electricity and water as much as possible.
I'm feeling "green" and fuzzy right now...
True they sell alot of items from China, and so does every other chain in the US. You would be hard pressed to not buy something from China for yourhome....not impossible, but very difficult and way more expensive overall.

One other thing, a percentage of their products are from China, but where are the employees in the US stores and distribution from? The US. The largestretailer on the planet employs ALOT of people, 1.3 million in America alone. That is alot of American families depending on a paycheck from this company....nomatter where there products come from.

For the record.........Nothing on the internet offends me. I just wanted a clarification.
Wow,
This Wal-Mart website gets new pics daily!!! YOWZA!!!
