What's With the Facebook Stuff ?

Anyone else getting the Facebook crap in their navigation bar ? First it was that annoying gift box (that's still sitting there on mine !), now this Facebook crap is bumping my other links down to where I can barely get to them !<br><br><br>Mark.

More yuku crap!!!!! Pretty sure facebook got caught selling your private info they said was confidential. Imagine that?

Yep!! got it too, not going to click on any that junk wish they would give us an option to remove it if we don't want it.

i'll never sign up for that facebook crap, got better things to do than write on walls or whatever they call it<br>

I would never link my account with Yucko-Yuku, but I have been on FaceBook for almost a year now and enjoy it.<br><br>Through FB, I have made contact with many old school friends from 30+ years ago. It's been great catching up with folks. Also, some of the games on FB are enjoyable to me. Don't knock till you've tried it! <img src="http://static.yuku.com/domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/happy.gif"><br><br>FaceBook is like anything else ......... It is what you make of it.

If you even think there could be a kid out there you don't know about don't do it!! I been lucky that every x girl friend that has found me on there did not have any bad news for me!! I don't use my hot wheels name on face book I use my name name. So no one here has contact with me on face book unlike Jeff who only likes to be contacted by his friends on here like Dave. but all my ex girlie friends have seem to have located me.....

I would like to know from people om facebook...What do you benefit from being on facebook?<br>Does it help you in your everyday life whether at work or home? Do you gain anything financially? <br>I personally don't have the time to sit on a computer all day to let everyone know what I'm doing or have done.<br>It sounds to me that people could be doing more productive things with their time by actually doing something.<br>My 2 cents.....

I'm on facebook. I don't update my status everyday. It's not a requirement. It's not a whole lot different than message boards. Think of it as a fast moving RLOL. I prefer not to see the same threads for days lingering around. Facebook fills that void.

Bob, It's just another form of social interaction via the Internet. Any 'benefit' received from it would depend on the user, not on FB. Many of you obviously have the misconception that anyone on FB sits there all day, typing out every little action or innaction of their daily lives for all to see. <img title="sick" src="http://static.yuku.com/domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/sick.gif"> I suppose there may be some who do exactly that. But not I, nor any of the friends or family that I have "befriended" on FB.<br><br>Me personally, I primarily use FB for the game apps. The games that I play are all mildly entertaining, socially interactive, and best of all ... <u>free</u>. I probably get on FB an average of an hour an evening. Non-productive? Sure it is! It's called entertainment. Just about everyone enjoys some form of entertainment, don't they? Some watch TV, some movies, some read, some go fishing .... you get the picture. I used to spend that same hour watching TV myself. I found that, for now, FB is a preferable form of 'non-productive' relaxation for me, that's all! <img title="smile" src="http://static.yuku.com/domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/smile.gif">

Matt's right. I'm a member that doesn't spend much time there. For me, the greatest benefit was finding a bunch of folks that I had not heard from in a very long time. I communicated with all these folks for the first week or so then everyone mostly disappeared back into their normal lives---TB
