Just released yesterday, available at Best Buy. This documentary on Rush was in theaters a couple weeks ago, and is now for sale. If you like Rush, then this is a must. I bought a copy yesterday, and got the T-Shirt addition. $20...total. Worth every dime, it's a fantastic history of my favorite band of all time.<br><br><br><br><img src="http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y103/ScottWheels/Random/P1010390.jpg" alt="image"><br>
What a band as I was lucky enough to have seen them on their 'Moving Pictures' tour & became a fan for life. Neil Peart is the greatest drummer I've ever seen live......amazing what he's gone through in his life, but that's another book >' Ghost Rider'. <img src="http://redlinesonlinemessageboard.yuku.com/domain/bypass/images/thumbsup.gif" width="25" height="18"> So how's the DVD.......all the major tours???<br>

Happen to catch a couple hours of some rock-u-mentery on VH1 the other night. Great Rush footage old and newer stuff. You'll enjoy the DVD. <br><br>

Neil Pearts life is discussed in detail on this DVD...he suffered a couple of losses, then what he did next reminded me of Forrest Gump. This is a very detailed documentary, a MUST if you're a Rush fan. Like I said earlier, it's on sale, discounted at Best Buy right now, or you can go to bestbuy.com and order it...it's cheap, and very informative...<br>Jeff and I were watching it last Saturday night on a channel called Palladia...I emailed him and told him to turn it on, had my phone in hand to call him when he responded back saying he was already watching it!!<br>It's a must for a Rush fan...<br><br>My favorite song? The Camera Eye from Moving Pictures. Give it a listen and focus on what they do...incredible. I'm one of those people who "get it". Watch the DVD and you'll understand why...<br>Can't wait to watch it in surround sound, plus the DVD has a LOT more to see than what was on Palladio on Saturday...<br><br>I hear you on the first five albums...when they started going heavy keyboards they lost me...that's covered too...<br>

The first was when they were a small Toronto bar band when they played at my high school. They just got progressively greater and greater. I'd say they are the all-time #1 North American rock band/act. Just my opinion.<br><p><img height="15" src="http://redlinesonlinemessageboard.yuku.com/domain/bypass/images/pacman.gif" width="15">Most memorable Rush concert moment: We were on the floor of the Coliseum in Edmonton about 20 feet from the stage in the center, when some sparkly thing came flying over our heads and landed in and got tangled in some guys long hair on his shoulder who was standing about 10 feet ahead of us. It was a firecracker someone tossed towards the stage. The guy felt it hit and just as he turned his head to see what it was, BANG!!!!....it went off right in his face. He didn't really get hurt, but the guy who tossed it got punched out by about 5 guys.<br><br><img height="15" src="http://redlinesonlinemessageboard.yuku.com/domain/bypass/images/pacman.gif" width="15">I've heard a few cuts from their latest album recently on the radio, and I'm dissapointed to say, I think their best writing days are behind them. The one song I hate to say was horrible, and the other wasn't great either. I don't remember what the titles are, but I imagine they'd still blow you away concert-wise. Maybe their new album will grow on me, but I wouldn't buy it judging by what I heard.
