Harley Davidson Guys-Check This Out
When I think of a Harley Davidson, I always think big & loud.
I was checking out some Redlines at friend's house and he was cleaning out the garage and had all these out.
I can't remember what years they were, but they are very old.
John

Looks like somethings that the Picker boys on TV would have a field day with.
Re: Harley Davidson Guys-Check This Out
Those are definitely nice.
They are from mid 60's to early 70's I believe.

Yeah those are Harley's..Can't remember all the details, I know the dirt bikes were made in Japan for AMF. The last one looks like a Sprint 250cc or around there. The moped was made in Italy I think. When AMF owned Harley they had parts from Italy and Japan on different bikes too. My first Harley was a 79 Fatbob Superglide 1200 (Shovelhead motor) and had a Keihin carb.

Cool stuff, we used to want to forget the AMF years but now that stuff is highly sought after. Sold my AMF XLCR about a year ago.

Your friend has a very nice collection of old Harleys.
I Love the 2 stroke dirt bike in the first snap.
It looks like it's fresh out of the blister pack!
In fact, they all do.

Re: Harley Davidson Guys-Check This Out
The second one is a Hummer. 1948-66. I was at an auction last year that had 3 for sale. (all ran but were not as nice as that one). I bid on two of the nicer ones but didn't get either.

I think you are right on the moped being Italian. The last one looks a lot like a Bridgestone.
Re: Harley Davidson Guys-Check This Out

The Mopeds would fit very well with my Cucciolos and M55 from Ducati

Found this pic of a 1973 AMF Z90 which a good friend of mine owned (not this one) back in the day. It was a great little bike & we beat his endlessly.....what memories we had riding that & pretending we were the next Roger DeCoster.
