A very sad day indeed.

[FONT=Tahoma][SIZE=3]With great sadness and a heavy heart I post this. I have just learned that a very good Man, Husband, Father, and Friend has passed away in Cali. All that knew Cookie Lind were blessed to know him and have many memories and humorous stories to tell on his behalf. He will be greatly missed. GOD, he is yours again. Don't take his Hot Wheels away from him, especially the Bitchin Root Beer Brown TNT. It was his fav. RIP Cookie.[/SIZE][/FONT]

This is very sad news, I talked to him a while back and he had some health problems but it did not sound that bad. He will be missed, I will pray for the family.

Cookie was the one who introduced me to Small Shots.We sat for hours at the conventions taking shots from others about collecting dolls.He took it in stride and usually had a quip in return.He was one of the Good ones and will be dearly missed.Our Thoughts and Prayers go out to the entire family.

RIP Cookie. He was one of the good guys of Collecting!!! Sorry I could not make it bigger. I copied a picture that Carson Lev posted over on Facebook.

He was a great guy and always did everyone right. I remember the last time I saw him in Riverside, I chatted with him for about 10 minutes. He was buying antifreeze US bugs and I just happened to have a couple with me. He bought them both and then I bought a killer purple grasshopper from him. He threw in a killer aqua US Bandit with the deal.

When I looked in his eyes, shook his hand and thanked him, he said..."No Jeff, thank you." He was such a nice, sincere man it brings a tear just thinking about him being gone.

My Dad taught us boys that one can learn a lot about a mans character by his handshake and the look in his eyes.

Cookies handshake and eyes educated me more than any words could ever teach me about him.


Rest in Peace, My friend...Rest in Peace.

Very sorry to hear this, always a great time with that guy. The hobby today is sorely in need of guys like him.

I am deeply saddened to hear about the passing of a fellow collector and above all else a kind and wonderful human being. RIP Cookie. My condolences to the family.

I never knew or met Cookie, but wish I had from all that I've read about him. Many positive thoughts & prayers going out to his family & to Cookie.....may you rest in peace.
