Yes. He was a very good wrestler. I watched many of his matches.
RIP Randy.
One of my all time favorite Wrestler greats to watch. One of my childhood friends I still keep in touch with, we started watching him in the mid 80s along with Hulk Hogan and Andre the Giant, those were cool days of watching these guys and great entertainment. Macho Man-Randy Savage will be greatly missed and a very tragic way to go.
R.I.P MACHO MAN!

Wrestling was in its heyday with Macho, The Hulkster, Jessie The Body Ventura and the rest of the WWF/WWE bunch.
Those were the days of wrestling! I was into it before Wrestlemania 1. Back in the days of the Iron Shiek, Nicoli Volkoff, Paul Orndorf, and too many others to list! Macho Man was always a favourite and of course, Miss Elizabeth! :) Just read that she OD'd in 2003.
Rest in Peace Macho Man! Ohhhhhhhhh Yaaaaaaaaaa!!!!

I'm gonna "Snap into a Slim Jim!"
Sorry to hear of the tragic news. Wrestling was one of the first forms of entertainment on TV. My dad told me when he was little he'd go to the hardware store (only place he could watch TV in town) and sit with my uncles and watch the old wrestling shows....he said, other than that...not much more of anything to watch that was fun.
He and his brother "Leaping" Lanny Poffo are from my hometown. A friend of mine's mother used to laugh and pull out her M.C. Napier High School yearbook to show us Randy and Lanny. He was one of the greats and will be missed
Bummer about his death.
Fake wrestling never grabbed my attention. Kind of like Roller Derby...
My entertainment lies in Jackass...
I still remember when he started, one of the more entertaining wrestlers out there.

Wow...don't shoot me...I fully agree with this post.
Come on boys....it's about a human life lost here as well as many fond memories of this man. Whatever your opinions might be, he was an entertainer & showman. R.I.P. Randy.
The man played semi pro baseball, wrestled for years on the road. SOME of it was an act. But if you watch the old clips, you see men hurting men all the time. It was part of the deal. He earned his keep though hard work, and pain. The man was a legend and has millions of fans. Left a big foot print. God's speed Randy.
one of the BEST.
RIP Macho Man.
A guy passes away having a heart attack and crashes while driving, yet two individuals feel the need to dis on his 'profession." Disappointed in those responses for sure. If one ever realized what these guys put into their craft you'd be amazed. Fake...pre-determined matches yes, nothing fake about the travel, time away from your family, stress, and being one small mistake from having a career ending injury. You guys are lucky that Chugger isn't here, maybe you can pick this post up over there...why even bother posting?
Oh wait back to real TV like 'Survivor'' and 'American Idol'...please don't tell me its raining...you know the rest.

So what that I commented about the fake profession? It was not intended in any way to mock his tragic death.
This is a forum for discussion, is it not?
Bash Survivor and American Idol all you want...
At least I'm not a fish murderer!! Have you not ever thought about the pain the hook inflicts on that poor innocent little fishy who's just trying to grab something to eat??? Then to snag him on a stringer until his last breath? Cruel! Cruel I say!!! :)~
Scooter and his negativity...go engage Chugger, he's waiting for ya over there...
Your last two responses in one you don't even bother to answer the question...
WHAT IS YOUR BEER OF CHOICE?
I'm pretty snobbish when it comes to beer. I don't drink pilsners.
And then the utter gall to call wrestling fake???
Fake wrestling never grabbed my attention. Kinda like roller derby...
Go find something positive before it's too late...DD
YAWWWWWWWWWN.....
Scooter...

Cruel I say!!! :)~
The best is when we catch this invasive species on the Great Lakes called the Euro-Gobi...by NYS and Canadian Law you have to kill them on the spot...so we usually tag them on the trolling board and let them dry out in the sun, or put them on the motor to cook alive...or just give'm the old channel lock treatment...what a great law huh! I guess you get the picture.
LONG LIVE THE MACHO MAN!

I felt compelled to watch "Beyond The Mat' last evening while sipping a pilsner, or was it an ale, one of, if not best documentary about Wrestling ever compiled.
One more flying elbow off the top rope!
