Registering Issues??

Having trouble registering, I am getting confirmation email, and am pasting the link in my browser but it still will not sign me in. I'm sure it is something stupid I'm not doing. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been having this problem for month's. They say it's something i'm doing. I don't think it's my computer. This is the only site i have any problems login on. It takes a while but i found a way of getting on. Just have to do it every time i try too get on RLOL. I've had nothing but problem's since they switched brower's.

Since you've just posted this message, can I assume your problem is no longer the inability to log in in here?

What do you mean by "I've had nothing but problems since they switched browers?" Do you mean browsers? Who switched browsers? Are you referring to Microsoft IE9?

No i have problems everytime i try to get on the board. I check the remember me box. Next time i try getting on i'm locked out. I login give my password and still locked out. Than i found out by accident, i hit the forum tab and i'm in. Even when it says i'm locked out. One of the mods was helping me, don't remember whom, very helpful. Told me to clean out cookies and to do some other things and it didn't help. So i don't get on everyday, because of this. I've had nothing but problems since the board was moved from yuku.

What URL do you use to access the site?

Try using [url]http://forum.toycarexchange.com/vb/forum.php[/url] to see if that makes a difference.

The same thing has been happening to me, and it started just about a week ago. When I click "forum", then it logs me in. Not a big issue for me, it just took me a while to figure it out, now it's second nature to click on the forum topic after logging in, and it keeps me logged in. I've cleaned my cookies and all that jazz, and don't use IE, but Firefox, but still must click "forum" after logging in.

I'm using IE8, Optium(cable). URL What does that mean?

URL means website address. starts with http:// etc

It's in the long rectangular window near the top of the page

Problems like this are difficult to diagnose because they are only happening to one or two people at a time. If it was happening to everyone across the board, then it would be obvious and easy to figure out.

As it stands, I'm racking my brain to try and imagine what it could be. I can't reproduce the problem. Everything is working perfectly here. I've tried Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, Opera and IE8 and IE9 and they all work.

Usually I try to identify something that has changed. From this side, we haven't made any 'system' changes for months. The servers are the same, the web provider is the same and no changes have been made to the domains. The forum software is the same as it was on the day we opened.
