What's your beer of choice?
Thought this might be fun & I pose the question:
"What's your beer of choice?"
I am by no means a connoisseur of beer but do know which ones I like. I have always leaned towards Sam Adams many fine brews, especially their regular original Lager, Winter Lager, & Summer Ale. Enjoy & have a cold one on me!

Re: What's your beer of choice?
Congratulations Gary, I just celebrated 21 years clean & sober in Feb.
but to answer the question, I used to drink becks back in the day, and at night it was Bud........

Re: What's your beer of choice?
Say Hey,
Not to hoard a thread ... "Congrats" to Gary & Pete ... 27 yrs. "One Day At A Time" here.
My worst days sober are better than my best day drunk.
For me I gave ( the defined word ) myself no choice in the matter, I just drank.

Wish I had one however, I don't drink.

Re: What's your beer of choice?
Typically either Guinness or New Castle Brown Ale, or if domestic PBR, on a low carb diet right now and cant have any of the 3. found michelob ultra to be more water than beer flavor then figured out that miller lite has 3.2 carbs per can or bottle. so for another 40 pounds its lite. i also like alot of Sam Adams seasonal and brewmaster releases, just dont care much for regular sam. also like a good IPA or Stout/Porter
-
Re: What's your beer of choice?
I prefer the Spring/Summer brews
Sam Adams - Summer Ale
Blue Moon - Belgian, Spring, Summer Ale
Corona - reg and lite
Tecate and Pacifico
Lots of good German brews St. Paulie Girl, Becks etc
Guinness Stout when Im in the mode for the heavy stuff
cheap stuff - Coors
* draft and bottles NO cans

It used to be Amstel Light if I was just having a couple which just didn't happen. Then Bud Light and eventually what ever was on sale as it didn't really matter because I was going for effect and not taste. Problem was once I started I couldn't stop. I gave it up almost 4 years ago and gave up cigarettes 3 years ago. Now that money goes for my new addiction Redlines! Atleast I still have them in the morning. LOL!!

Re: What's your beer of choice?
I like missippi mud, really cold where ice crystals form

Re: What's your beer of choice?
Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA
-
Re: What's your beer of choice?
Just had the 60 and 90 minute IPA last month, both very nice beers.
As for the old stand by it would either be a Guinness or Newcastle.

Re: What's your beer of choice?
I'm pretty snobbish when it comes to beer. I don't drink pilsners. I prefer Ale's which I don't consider beer.
Sierra Nevada Brewery products for me most of the time, but sometimes I'll stray off my beaten path and have Laguinitas IPA, or Maximus IPA...
-
Re: What's your beer of choice?
Usually Budweezer.......but at the Conventions in LA it's Sierra Nevada with some dude named pee pee Scott LOL!

BIGFOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and also love DFH 60 and 90

Re: What's your beer of choice?
Bigfoot is a monster Ale. It's on my menu tonight...Torpedo is very good too, that is my personal favorite. They came out with a new one this year called Hoptimum, and it lives up to it's name. It's hard to find, but I was in Chico last weekend and found three pints, I've got two in waiting in the fridge for the right time.
HA! Found a pic!!!

Re: What's your beer of choice?
I Like Fat Tire...and Boulivard...great beers, made in this area of the US. I bet you'd likem too. I've long since grown out of getting drunk since I've had the kids. My younger years were a party, but since about 28 or so, I just drink very occasionally...maybe 2 times a month(I'll have 1 or two) maybe 1 time every 2 months (just 1). Like the taste...but, really I'm a lightweight anymore ...after a few I'm starting to feel the effects, so I usually just have a couple. My brother was a mad drunk...Took him several OWIs..and a near fatal crash for him to get clean. To me its a very inspirational story... I'm proud of him...

Re: What's your beer of choice?
Fat Tire and everything else New Belgium makes is pretty damn good. Just cant get it out here. Alexander Keith's is great too, good luck getting it most anywhere other then Nova Scotia

Re: What's your beer of choice?
I know it's not beer but it comes in a can, just tried (yesterday) Jerimiah Weed's roadhouse tea, i like it
-
Re: What's your beer of choice?
Yuengling. Cheap but still have flavor.
I guess I was lucky in that in any given sitting, I never really want more than 3 beers. Even then I'll only have a beer maybe 8 times a month.

Re: What's your beer of choice?
I'm a craft beer guy but can't drink too many of them in one sitting. If'n I am going to be sitting around drinking all day it will be Miller Lite.
Founders Brewery Devil Dancer - Triple IPA
Great Lakes Christmas Ale
Southern Tier Choklat stout, 2XIPA
Dogfish Head 60, 90, 120 minute and Burton Baton
I could go on.

Re: What's your beer of choice?
They don't sell that in KY? Not that far away... Hmmm. It is really good beer...
Just like Load said...if its a Party...or a Wedding or maybe a Hawkeye football game at 11:00 AM and its an all day drinking event...I prefer the watered down stuff... Lite....by Miller :)

Re: What's your beer of choice?
Last time I drank any significant amount of beer(more than one a month) I loved drinking Iron City Beer.
I had a buddy that turned me on to it and I really liked it.
Again...that was back in the mid to late '80s.

Re: What's your beer of choice?
Almost anything from Russian River. Their sours are good, especially Consecration...

Rogue's Northwestern is tough to find around here, but one of their best...

...and alot of stuff from Stone. Oaked Arrogant Bastard, Levitation, etc. We make it to the brewery for all of their events (Winter Storm, Sour Fest, etc.), and at the last Storm, they had some killer limited stuff, like Crime and Punishment: Peppers added to the brewing process of Lucky Bastard and Oaked Double. But, if I'm 4-wheeling or shooting, it's Coors or Jack only (and Blue Ribbon when that runs out).
-
Re: What's your beer of choice?
Yes Ryan! Russian River is hard to beat. Pliny The Elder......so good.
Firestone Brewing makes some darn good stuff. Most beers from Deschutes in Bend, OR. Ninkasi in Eugene, OR. Georgetown Brewing here in Seattle.
