Re: ruined a beautiful car
Well at least he didn't borrow the car from you :)
Re: ruined a beautiful car
One accident doesn't mean he ruined it. Even people who take care of their cars have things happen. BUT, if he doesn't plan to fix it and just let s it go, well then he needs to be killed. If anything happens to me or I ever sell the T/A or Satellite, I will be asking for references from any prospective buyer(my buddy already knows to do this if anything happens to me). I did not put all of the time and effort into the cars to let some douchebag destroy them. I'd have them crushed first.
Re: ruined a beautiful car
Wow.... Now we know why an insurance is little high on younger people..
Re: ruined a beautiful car
The car is certainly not ruined. I don't think its too hard to find parts for that generation of mustang and all the damage appears to be cosmetic. As long as your daughter's friend plans on fixing it, I don't think you have to worry too much.
Re: ruined a beautiful car
As my Dad would say..it's now been Christened.
On a board note..why would we have to scroll side to side to see your full pictures, when there is a useless red border on both sides here?..and an utra wide margin on the left containing the names and avitars?

I had that problem with Firefox. I ended up shrinking the view of RLOL to fix it.

Re: ruined a beautiful car
some of you guys missed the point of this post,, i know the car can be fixed but the fact of the matter is he ruined it inside of a 4mth period and it was not an accident,,, he was being careless with it ,, and an up date on the car itself its not just cosmetic damage, the front end of the car is shifted 5 inches over and the insurance company told him it will cost more to fix it than its worth,, so now its going to be parted out,

I use Mozilla and I'm not getting what you're getting Frank...
Re: ruined a beautiful car
I think the real point should be this with your car.....drive it like you stole it. Don't worry about a little rain or dirt. Enjoy your baby she will wash. Drive it...put the miles on it. Why am I saving her for the next guy? Put the pedal to the floor, roll down the window, put down the vert top, crank up the radio.
Re: ruined a beautiful car
Some people just aren't responsible enough to own a car like that. I had a '91 5.0 Mustang notchback when I was 17... that car was light and got squirrely real easy. Looks like it can be fixed though.
Re: ruined a beautiful car
yeah, im not sure what the deal is with scrolling right or left,,, on my screen my pics are lined up top to bottom,,, sooooo????
i'm on firefox..... and been for years, i hope i haven't been causing an issue since 2001... lol
Re: ruined a beautiful car
I bought my Satellite from the original owner when I was 16. I managed not to destroy it. I ran into the original owners son about 10 years after I bought the car. He was seriously surprised I still had the car and it was still nice. And xtreme15, I had an 82 Capri with an 85 5.0 and 5 speed. With a little gas, the ass end of that car was all over the road. It had the TRX tire package and only got semi decent traction when it was dry. I never wrecked that one either. My 79 Turbo RS 4 speed was a differnt story though.....I wrecked that one bad, but it needed restored anyway. It just pushed the resto along.
Re: ruined a beautiful car
I didn't miss the point, I know what you are saying. If you let the car go, then let it go. It sucks but there is nothing you can do about it.
