Were they going up there to replace the light? The narrator really didn't say the intent of the climb.
Cool video. Now I'd like to see them climb down. That looks like it might be even more of a head ache to get back down. At least going up your looking up at your steps. Going down you can get vertigo real quick I bet.
I've seen this before too, but my hands still got sweaty just watching it again. Long time ago we installed cell phone stations ( the buildings at the base not the tower )and they each had some type and different heights of towers.....Well.....the one that I climbed was 309 ft high......YES I was young and dumb....but to get that high it took around 45-50 min and the view was spectacular ......when finally getting to the top the other guys started to whistle the trapeez song and the whole tower started to swing-sway and you wanna talk bout scared.....I will never do that kinda s#*& again......YOU Don't get a second chance...

Heights don't bother me, it's my job! I'm a tower climber by trade. The pics are small but this is only a 300-footer in Texas.

Oooo, I want to try that! I even will climb the Burj Khalifa tower (2,723 ft) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates if I want to! It is just like a roller coaster!

Not for me however if there was a Minty Purple Olds 442 at the top and that was my pay I would run up that tower.
In a heart beat, sign me up. Being an Elevator mechanic and part Psycho I have no fear of heights and would love to do that. Never worked the Twin towers, but I have worked the Empire State building and the Chysler building.
Man I am torn.I think it is really cool as far as the view goes but the free climbing would get to me I think.

Wow, Im a comercial roofer and hieghts realy dont bother me but that is some crazy sh/? my first thought is they do not get paid enough and I have no idea what there pay is but its not enough. lol
