I think you ask the wrong question.... I suggest you go to India, or Nepal, or some "spiritual" place like that, go to the mountains and find your true teacher so you may find the real answer to your questionl; and in the meantime, so as not to distract you in your search for the one true answer, I suggest you leave both Cobra and Hot Wheels with me, and I will make sure that they do not sully your spirit again.

I'm with the ''if it ain't broke, don't fix it ''crowd. I have rarely, if ever, seen a repaint that doesn't look like a repaint. Too much potential to eff it up.

So true ,LOL!! you have a great Cobra there eitherway !1 but i gotta say the Blue silver stripe finish is awesome the best Cobra finish i think

It does have a 1966 427 in it with a tremec 5 speed and a independent dana rear diff.. Thanks everyone for your opinions. Most people I talk to say the same that most of you are saying.I know there are a ton of Blue cobras out there but there is just something about blue and white that says Cobra to me. The other reason I am cosidering doing this is that there are 4 local cobras in my area and there is another silver with blue striped one.

That thing is BEAUTIFUL, and you want to paint it to make it a common? And give up your redlines to do it? You must REALLY, REALLY like blue. I personally like the slightly less common silver.
