Surreal, those pictures realy show just how far our society/world has come.
My Grandfather spoke on occasion the life it was back then living thru trench warfare.
I like the gasoline station pic the best, makes you wonder if the guy his putting out a cigarette.

Pretty sure that last warplane (fighter) is a Sopwith Camel....like what Snoopy flies and what the "supposed" downer of the Red Baron Von Richtofenflew......Roy Brown. Roy Brown couldn't have done it. The entry wound was from below and exit wound above. Roy Brown came swooping in from above to get him(Baron) off of May's tail. They were extremely close to ground. The book says that a "cook" heard the commotion and took a pot-shot at him with arifle. Bingo.

^ I was thinking the same thing, looks like a Camel.

The PBS series Nova had an episode about the controversy over who really killed the RedBaron. Good show.
