Wow that is awesome! Got my eye on a sweet CCM Mustang, I'm hoping one day the owner will be willing to pass it along.
Peace,
Preston
Hey Preston, thanks for the props on the Stingray bike. Yeah, who ever owned it, wanted it to be a Schwinn real bad, because the rear nobby tire and the high rise Stingray handle bars and goose neck are Schwinn made. I like it's look and road it for a 3 mile run today, smooth as silk.
A Hawthorne?!?!?!?!?! No way! Dang I haven't seen one of those since the 70s! I had a gold Sears Spyder Before I got my Schwinn Stik-Shift

Yeah , I haven't seen one either Ross, not even in the 70s. I don't remember my mom ever shopping at Wards....lol.
Nice bike Colin and thanks for the props on the EK banana seat, never seen one before, cool looking and it actually is period correct for the time.
How much are those bike worth??
Sometimes i find one here in the Netherlands but I am not so intrested in those
but you guys overthere seem to like those choppers!

Cool bike! I just recently got into the bike scene myself but have been lucky enough to acquire these two bikes over the course of a year. My pride and joys....

Monkey Wards sold good products - my MW garage door opener still works after 38 years! Gotta love the stars'n'stripes banana seat, remember that besides Evel K there was plenty of that in the seventies as we approached the Bicentennial.
I really dig seeing these early musclebikes like this. I'll get one or two eventually but I'm too big to enjoy a ride! Only vintage bikes around me right now are a couple of rusty old girls bikes I rescued from the trashman.
i saw one of those on Pawn Stars. stick shifts are so cool!
