Hey everyone. Aside from redlines one of my many other interests is urban exploring and old buildings. Especially old shopping malls and retail stores from the50's and 60's. Dont know why im so fascinated with them. Maybe its the idea of finding an unopened case of redlines in one of the storage rooms, ormaybe its the fact that they are a representation of a time i love so much that i never got to experience for myself, or the cool architecture they feature.Maybe its the Irony that a place that once held so much excitement and activity now sits abandoned and silent, waiting for nature to overrun it and reclaim it.Anyway heres some cool links that contain vintage photos of shopping malls and retail stores as well as new photos of abandoned ones.

malls of america

The malls of America site is very cool. They have an unbelievable archive section with some very cool vintage photographs.
