WOW! took my daughter to the Swap Meet this morning and this is what we found. It was too cool to pass up and all original except for the knobbytires, they are after market from back in the day. The paint is that Schwinn blue and in decent shape for 38 years, decals, handle grips ok and seat has notears at all, just a few scuffs on the sissy bar and frame from the kid riding it and laying her down.imageimage

She's a cool Schwinn Stingray and ready to ride, it cruises smooth as silk. All she needs is the original style slick in the rear and mild style fronttire. I'll be on the look-out for those.image

BTW, I still have my 1970 Schwinn Varsity in metallic green from when I was a kid. I have had it in dry storage for 10 years and cleaned him up today andpumped up the tires. He rides as good as he did back in the day.
