If there is sentient life in the universe,it must be a long ways away. It's awesome to realize that even traveling at the speed of light, we don'treally get very far. You would have to travel at 186,000 miles per second for about four years to get to the nearest star in our universe (other than the sunof course). The distances are awe inspiring.Although I am a creationist I don't see any logical problem with the idea that intelligent life could exist inanother universe. I wonder though what mode of transportation we could hope to use in order to find each other in the vastness of space. I really like therelative sizes of the planets and stars at the beginning of this thread. Our little planet is certainly not very impressive relative to many of the bodies inthe universe.---mike

PS I believe scientists in the field have changed their minds regarding Pluto. I think we're back to only eight planets.
