But, I collect Smith & Wesson nowjust like Hot Wheels there are rare gems to be found and here is one i picked up local at a pawn shop, it's a Smith & Wesson Model 547 in 9mm with 4" barrel as they made about 10,000 of these for an order placed by France, they made about 6700 of them with 3" barrel and about 3700 with 4"barrel and they shipped an unknown amount of them to France that was put into service so no one really knows how many LNIB is left , the order was not totally bought by them and S&W sold the rest to the public in the early 1980's for around $230.. S&W said it was the most complex gun they ever made because of it being 9mm and it doesn't need moon chips. it's one of the hottest sellers on Gunbroker.com as prices have shot threw the roof for this model as one 3" model sold for a recond of $3500+ but most sell for around $1500-2000

It like the 442 olds as just the box/tool and paperworks will bring around $200-500 alone.
