Excellent album
Brings back lots of good childhood and adult memories for me also.
One of those memories is from the Marine Corps. There was this club in Okinawa called "Sgt Peppers Lonely Hearts Club"...I had some good times there.

magine (fitting word!) a group of kids changing the world like they did. What other group, or individual has had this kind of impact?
Well Dave. Is that a rhetorical question? Or are you looking for an answer? Because I know one person who has had a much greater impact on society and history than The Beatles.John Lennon knows him too.Lennon also said at one point that The Beatles were bigger than Christ. He had to do a little back peddling though.
My most important memory of The Beatles is seeing them on our landlords black and white TV when they appeared on Ed Sullivan.I think it was 1964.They were already legends when they hit America. We sat there around the TV with mouths open in awe.I started letting my hair grow long on that day.
Good album for sure. They were showing the movie on TV last week, and I laughed the entire ten minutes I saw of it. It's too bad such a olegend is tarnished with that peice of crap. Who decided the Bee Gees would be a good part of a rock band anyway?![]()
I wondered why anyone would want to 'Buy Some California Grass'!!!
