I'd think you're on the right path to realize your goals Justin and am sure of your success! Maybe look at the CID thing. A friend of our familymarried and American guy who is just that. I held his badge in my hand. He wouldn't show his gun though. I believe US CID guys are about the only UScitizens who can cross into Canada carrying their service weapon and not divulge this to border officials. I don't know what the arrangement is, all I knowis that's their modus operandi pretty much throughout the world. Secret Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaagent man! Anyhow, maybe we'll see a best seller on the Iraq War,or some topic from you on the shelves sometime. Maybe you could become a writer for PBS,...............................PBS???? Talk about bein'waaaaaaaaaaaay off topic! I know PBS is a swear word in some parts there pardner! Nah leyt's heayd on up to Alberti an' git us sum uh dat Pilsner der,Cletus! imageYahooooooooooo!image

    Alright, I can't not...

    DP vs LWOP:

It is only about feelings and emotions for those who are pro-death penalty. Namely, feelings and emotions such as rage, and hatred, and revenge.

For me, being against the death penalty is a cold, hard, logical decision. Put simply, it doesn't work. It accomplishes nothing other than to try andsatisfy those feelings and emotions noted above.

I am against the death penalty because I am one who is always trying to achieve a positive outcome for all of society. I don't consider satisfying feelingsand emotions of rage, revenge, etc., a positive outcome.

The only way I can see to institute change towards understanding criminals and hopefully reducing crime is to keep them alive.

Kill them and you automatically lose anything that could be gained.

Cold, hard, rational thinking in trying to improve our society. Nothing 'feel good' about it.

    Greg

Truly noble Greg! If you were the guy who's eye is peekin' through that triangle high atop that 'pseudo-illegal pyramid scheme representation'on the back of the US $1, the world would truly be a better place! By the way, you said you weren't comin' back pages ago, let's see how long ittakes before Justin is swept back in to the gravitational forces eminating from the galactic swirl of this threads life! image

as far as criminals go, you CAN NOT be warm and fuzzy with them Greg or Andy!!! they do not comprehend that and would just tell you to F-off or punch you inthe face. all they understand is what they know...crime, drugs, gang life...the hard way of life. why do you think that the majority of released criminals endup back in jail or prison. because it's their way of life and all they know...is it really that hard to understand?!! i don't think it is. when thesecriminals grow up around criminals and crime it's what they are taught and how they live. these criminals get institutionalised and can not function is anormal society...they will find a way back into prison or jail. a few times in the joint and they are a lost cause. i just can't figure out why thiscan't be understood, it truely baffles me. Greg or Andy...would you be willing to let one of these hardened criminals stay in your house as a releaseprogram? i would like to hear your answer and the reason why you would or would not choose to have a murderer, rapist, child molester live in your home.

Once more: I am not, repeat NOT advocating being 'warm and fuzzy' with these criminals.

I am advocating using them for the betterment of society. That doesn't necessarily translate to warm and fuzzy...

Notice that the word 'Just' is contained within the name Justin? Let's interpret the name. Break it down. 'Just', as in justice. Thesuffix 'in' is actually indicative of mass, and in particular, water. Something that is in, or, massed, gathered, clumped, etc...is represented bywater and is feminine in nature (Justine), or in physics, the suffix ine is indicative of being electrically positively charged (positive ion, positron,etc....), whereas the suffix ide is indicative of a negative, or repelling electrical charge, and is masculine in nature(negative ion) and represented by'fire'. So the spirit that moves upon Justin's water (or anyone's), is that of the male. Seen this metaphor somewhere before? God cleanseswith fire! Basically it's all about retribution against Eve. Maybe you've seen the water fountain with the proverbial flame, or water that flows uphill in that one famous fountain. See the grand 'template'? Justin=Just Man! 'Man' being not one, but the body of man as in 'Mankind'.Man! You we're predestined and ordained by the Cosmos to be a Police Officer, or with your writing abilities, sense of judgement, and attention span, maybe a Judge. It's in the stars. Look at my avatar, see that one tiny little star over there? Ya, that one. That's you! You're a good man Justin!I'll shut-up now! Andyimage
