Is anyone near Denton, DFW, Texas?

Hi All,
Is anyone from near Denton, Texas, north of Dallas? I need someone who could go look at a classic car for me.
I'd like to find out if it looks road-worthy for the 1,000 mile drive back to WI. If I decide to buy it, I'd fly in, and drive it home.
If anyone has a mechanical eye, and could look this car over for me, I'd make it worth your time & trouble. I'd need to have you check the tires,brakes, hoses, check it for oil leaks, electrical problems, etc. Possibly do a test drive, if the seller is willing.
What I'd also really like to get is some video of a walk-around of the car, and to hear it how it starts & runs.
The seller has not been able to give me enough info on the history of the car, to make a purchase decision from this distance.

Thanks for the contact info. I joined the Impala site, and sent Tony a message. At the same time, he sent me an email through your efforts. I've returnedhis email, and am now waiting to connect with him. Thanks!! I'm going to keep the car a secret, in case it goes no where, or I decide not to buy it.I'll post it up, if a deal is struck. I'm sure Tony will be well qualified, if he decides to help me out.
I have enjoyed watching your VW come together, and spent a couple of hours reading Tony's thread yesterday and today. Great work by the both of you. Idon't currently have the time, or a complete shop at the present time to take on a full blown resto project. But, I do have the old (car) itch again, afterselling my '63 Riviera 2 years ago, in preparing for our overseas assignment.

Glad I could help Jerry. After I saw Tony's work.... I knew he was the guy to look at the car you're wanting to buy. He is a Mod at The Samba. Andhe's thrown mad props my way on my '59 Beetle rebuild. Let us know what comes of it.
