Saw it listed in Shotgun News starting around 350. In the local stores was around 500. So its pricey.

I thought the smith and wesson 500 looked nice at the basspro shop.
I think the price was around 1200.
Why so much?

the judge is a very nice gun and is very hard to get at times. I was going to buy one a few weeks back during the South Carolina tax free weekend for firearmsbut everywhere I checked was sold out of them.Ended up buying a smith and wesson model 642-38special. Also picked up a GSG5 which is a 22 calibur clone of theMP5.
Back to the judge, I have several friends that own these and they love them. They Have also been Rabbit hunting with these as well as personal/home defense.The only complaint I have heard is the cost of 45 long colt ammo but all ammo prices seem to be on the rise and supply is low around here on some ammo.
I like having the option of shooting 2 different types of ammo from the same gun. There are several options with the judge, barrel length,finish, there is alighter weight one also.
I like the Gun And plan to buy one soon.
